Well, Bob. Congratulations on tonight.
The most abiding memory is of doing a session for you on GLR back when I was
really struggling to get through. You were always very supportive. Anyway, on
this particular session I came in to play some of the songs I was writing for
what became White Ladder. I can't remember why but we thought it was a good
idea to bring a power drill with us and play it during one of the instrumental
breaks. I just remember you grinning from ear to ear. So...I don't know what
that was all about. Really I would just like to say a massive thank you from myself and all the other struggling musicians that you've helped out down the years by supporting their music. |
