" just need a shot of rock & roll" was a great line in a song [ nils lofgren/cry tough,that was supplied in right in the main line, by the return of alejandro escovedo & the sensitive boys last night @ that centre of live excellence [the railway inn winchester]
the set i thought was a rock sandwich rock each end with slower ballads in the centre,most of the material came from the trio of releases [ including the latest big station] co written with his buddy the great chuck prophet !
something in the show for everyone, set finished off, with " like a hurricane" [ canadian national anthem ! his words ! waiting for my man !
the band were looking forward to [ olivers & birgits legendary hospitality] after some long days & short nights on the road in the last week !
dont mention the travelodge shower !
