Very pleased that Michael Chapman is confirmed as guest on Bob's Dec 5th Sunday. Anyone not familiar with Michaels huge body of work and captivating guitarwork is in for a real treat. Excellent late night stuff. Anyone who lost track of Michael after Postcards Of Scarborough and the legendary Harvest albums will be pleased to know that Michael has lost none of edge on the acoustic and his nack of writing sharp melancholic songs. Michael is also a considerable music fan himself and an avid listener so his choice of tracks by other artists should be interested too
Absolutely spot on Mark..... Michael headlined a local festival of ours,(The Cottingham Springboard Festival in Hull)three years ago for a not awfully big fee and was equally fantastic and gracious in the same breath. Great songs and sublime guitar, he should be more widely known than he is and deservedly so.Can't wait to hear him on Bob's show.
